Our Verity Institute in Australia is part of a growing network of Verity Institutes based close to our projects across the world and tailored to the needs of local communities.
One of the largest facilities of its kind in the country, the Institute serves a number of essential roles. It’s an on-the-ground base camp for our team in the field, a research and development lab to catalyse innovation in the sector, a nursery to give seedlings the best possible start, a hub delivering training and upskilling, and an asset for local people to draw on.
The Institute supports our programme of ongoing stakeholder engagement, helping us showcase our work and future plans. It also facilitates our data collection and reporting - vital to the creation of highest integrity carbon and community co-benefit credits.

Training
We work in partnership with the communities close to our projects. Rather than creating boundaries to separate people from nature restoration projects, we bring people and planet together. Local communities are at the heart of all our work, supporting us to establish intergenerational projects that make a difference for the long-term.
Research
We only work at scale. Our projects span hundreds of kilometres, creating, protecting, restoring and improving natural landscapes to reduce carbon emissions and sequester (lock away) carbon – to help tackle climate change and the loss of biodiversity. We create nature restoration ‘corridors’ with a network of neighbouring projects – drastically increasing the positive benefits of the work.
